This book was a breath of fresh air. Caroline is wise beyond her years, kind, and fun. Edward has some growing up to do. He matches Caroline's teasing and playfulness. I couldn't get enough of them (playing with the children, painting, teasing, and THE ATTIC SCENE!). 
My favorite. Swoon!
