I enjoyed the first book in the series but this one was so much more exciting. 
New places to explore, more war between Quill, fear of failure, seeking glory, betrayal, secrets, losing everything and everyone he holds dear... I was on the edge of my seat especially near the end. 

I may just have to buy the whole series for a certain kid for the upcoming holidays. He will love it! I know I did. I can’t wait to read the next book.
