Love, revenge, and...redemption?
The Last voyage of Poe Blythe is a bit darker than the other books of Ally Condie's that I’ve read but wow. I loved it more than the matched series by far. The writing was really good and the character shifted and changed making her have layers and was more loveable. Or at least easier to cheer for.
AND the twist at the end!?!?!?! If you read Ally’s other books and this one please message me because I need to know I’m not the only person blown away at the end.
Poe’s journey was mysterious, grief stricken, and constantly changing. I couldn’t put this book down. The audiobook was great.
CW: darker themes. dead bodies. not too graphic
TW: Child kidnapping. Loss of loved one
