Lady Flyer is based on a true story of WWII pilot Nancy Love.
I enjoy reading books about WWII, but I didn’t know how much I would love learning about an amazing woman who fought for equality.
This novel is full of Nancy finding out who she really is, love-of country, flying, and a man who captures her heart, loss, the fight for freedom, and so much more. By the end of the book I was convinced I wanted to be a pilot and to be a better human being. I really enjoyed how Nancy handled so many hard situations placed in front of her.
This novel follows Nancy from a child loving the thrill of flying to a woman that wants to desperately help her country.
The audiobook is wonderfully done and it held my attention from chapter one to the very last page.
